About Lark Lagree

Brandi’s passion for movement began through her own journey, where she discovered the powerful impact training has on both the body and mind. That experience inspired her to become a Cycle instructor in 2022 and a Certified Personal Trainer in 2023. She strives to help others feel strong, confident and empowered both in the studio and out! Her coaching is rooted in intention, proper form, and purposeful movement, paired with a high-energy, motivating feel to every class. She loves Lagree for its slow, controlled approach and focus on progressive overload, encouraging clients to embrace the shake and push beyond what they thought was possible. To her, it’s not just about the workout, it’s about building strength, confidence and a mindset that carries into everyday life. Whether new or experienced, she meets you where you are at and helps you grow one slow, spicy, shaky rep at a time! Outside of the studio you can find her soaking up the sun, at a coffee shop or walking her dogs.

Angela is part of the Front of House team at Lark, where she’s passionate about creating a welcoming, seamless studio experience for every client. With a background in marketing and hospitality, she brings a thoughtful, client-first approach to every interaction. Outside the studio, Angela enjoys cooking, a well-made Caesar, soaking up the Okanagan sunshine, and spending time with her Goldendoodle, Merlot. She’s excited to be part of the Lark team and to welcome the community into a space they’ll truly love.

Alex is an energetic and intentional coach who brings intensity, authenticity, joy and purpose to every class. With a strong foundation in movement and a focus on consistency and discipline, she creates workouts that challenge both the body and the mindset. She’s passionate about creating an environment where people feel challenged, supported, and empowered, where they can step outside their comfort zone and surprise themselves. Alex meets clients where they’re at while pushing them to go further. Her style is both motivating and supportive, helping people move through discomfort, build confidence, and feel strong, capable, and proud of how they show up. As a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant, she takes a well-rounded approach to health, supporting habits that fuel performance and long-term progress.

Jess has been teaching fitness since 2009, bringing experience, passion, and commitment to helping others move well and feel strong. She holds canfitpro Fitness Instructor Specialist and Personal Training Specialist certifications, a 200-hour yoga teacher training, a 500-hour comprehensive Pilates certification, and her Lagree L1 certificate. This diverse background shapes her alignment-focused approach to every class. During a challenging season, Lagree became a turning point for Jess, offering strength, resilience, and clarity. The mental toughness required in class extends beyond the Mega, reinforcing her belief that movement builds both physical and mental strength. Jess’s classes prioritize alignment, challenge, and fun. With a strong focus on form and intentional movement, she creates a supportive space where clients feel pushed, empowered, and capable. She is excited to join Lark Lagree and share a method she values deeply with the Penticton community.

Lauren is a certified Level 1 Lagree instructor passionate about the Lagree method and helping clients feel strong, confident, and supported. She completed her training with Lagree West in Vancouver, BC, earning her Level 1 certification in Kelowna. Her Lagree journey began as a new mom in Kitsilano, where she discovered the method and fell in love with its ability to transform strength and overall well-being. Since then, it has reshaped how she feels in her body and approaches movement. Lauren’s classes are upbeat, supportive, and form-focused, with emphasis on alignment, encouragement, and the Lagree shake. She creates a welcoming environment where clients feel challenged, empowered, and uplifted after each session. She is continuing her education through Level 2 Lagree training and pre- and post-natal workshops, deepening her expertise and passion for lifelong learning in the Lagree method.

Maika is your front-of-house friendly face and unofficial emotional support human. She is passionate about being part of a space where people feel seen, supported, and maybe a little stronger than when they walked in. Raised in Penticton, she’s all about making the studio feel welcoming, fun, and never intimidating because Lagree is hard enough already.

She’s here to calm your pre-class nerves, hype you up, and remind you that yes, the shake is very normal. Expect laughs, encouragement, and zero judgment.

You’ll find her behind the desk or outside asking to pet someone’s dog and if you have one, she will ask to see a picture.

Megan brings a lifelong connection to movement into her instruction. With a dance background that began at age four and teaching experience since 2015, she has built a strong foundation in form, alignment, and intentional movement. After moving to Penticton in 2021, she fell in love with group fitness and began instructing in 2023, discovering a passion for helping others feel strong, capable, and supported in a welcoming environment.

Her goal is to create a challenging yet encouraging experience for both body and mind. Expect high energy, precise cueing, and those signature Lagree shakes that build deep strength and endurance.

Megan also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and works as General Manager at her family’s winery in Naramata. Outside the studio, she enjoys the outdoors, time with her three cats, and a relaxing glass of red wine in the evenings.

Nicole is a Functional Nutritionist and Personal Trainer with a passion for movement and feeling your best. She believes in building strength, staying consistent, and making fitness something you actually enjoy. She is so excited to be part of the Lark Lagree family.

With 8 years in the fitness industry, Tiana is so excited to be part of the Lark Lagree team and reconnect with such an incredible community. Her passion for fitness goes far beyond the studio floor. She truly loves being part of people’s journeys in any way she can.

For Tiana, it’s all about creating a welcoming, supportive environment from the moment you walk through the door. Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, she wants you to feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to be here. She knows how important those small interactions can be, and she's always here to help make your experience as smooth and positive as possible.

Vanessa is co-founder of Lark and PURE Gym, building community-driven wellness spaces that extend far beyond the workout. With a background in corporate marketing and holistic wellness, she transitioned full-time into fitness in 2012, blending brand strategy with a deep passion for movement and people.

As a certified Lagree instructor, she is known for her intentional, form-focused coaching style that emphasizes slow, controlled strength paired with an energetic, motivating presence. Her classes are challenging yet empowering, designed to build sustainable strength, confidence, and a stronger mind-body connection over time.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to creating supportive, inspiring environments where people feel connected to themselves and their community.

Outside the studio, you’ll find her in the garden with Carl and their doodle, Peanut.

Marisa is the Studio Manager at Lark, and her coaching style is intentional, supportive, and inspiring. With a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from UBC Vancouver and a background in group fitness & personal training, she’s developed a passion for form-first movement and training for longevity. Marisa is Level 1 Lagree Certified and has fallen in love with the way it challenges both the body and the mind, building strength, stability, and resilience. Movement's impact extends beyond the physical, and her goal is to create a space that supports and empowers you on your journey.

Having grown up in Penticton, she lives for Okanagan summers, camping, and a crispy Diet Coke (with a lime & a straw!) on a sunny patio. A killer playlist is important to her, so expect lots of feel-good vibes that will carry you through class. Marisa is big on energy, flow, and creating a class that feels as good as it burns. She is deeply grateful to be a part of the Lark Lagree team and excited to share the Lagree Method with the community.

Carl is the co-owner of Lark and PURE Gym and the ultimate behind-the-scenes problem solver, the guy who always has the answer, a fix, or a backup plan no matter the issue.

He’s the steady hand keeping everything running smoothly, from early mornings to last-minute curveballs, and he’s usually already three steps ahead making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If something needs fixing, organizing, building, figuring out, or “just making it work,” Carl is the one everyone calls.

Equal parts operations wizard and calm-in-the-chaos energy, he keeps the studios moving so the rest of the team can focus on what they do best. Lark and PURE wouldn’t run the same without him!
