Why Lagree?
Plus sign

Developed by fitness visionary Sebastien Lagree, Lagree Fitness is one of the fastest growing workouts in North America. Each class is performed on patented equipment that uses variable resistance and dynamic tension to tighten, tone and elongate muscles while improving postural alignment and strengthening the entire body.

A Lagree studio undergoes a comprehensive licensing process which ensures the Lagree Method is taught by certified Lagree instructors who have a complete understanding of the method and the sequencing required for efficacy.

Popular with athletes and celebrities for rapid results, this slow resistance workout is recommended for all fitness levels and founded on 10 principles: Form, Range of Motion, Duration, Tempo, Resistance, Incline, Sequence, Transition, Cueing, and Planes of Motion.

All Lagree machines are engineered to teach users at a slow pace for long sets and are equipped with springs, rather than weights to allow users to maintain precise control over movement.

What is Lagree?
Plus sign

Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact workout performed on a specialized machine. It focuses on slow, controlled movements that build strength, endurance, and core stability—without stressing your joints.

How is Lagree different from Pilates?
Plus sign

Lagree is not Pilates. Lagree is a distinct, more intense method - performed on a larger, more dynamic machine and combines strength training, core work, balance, and endurance into one continuous workout. Movements are slower and more time under tension is emphasized, resulting in deeper muscle fatigue and faster strength gains - while remaining low-impact and joint-friendly.

Is Lagree suitable for all fitness levels?
Plus sign

Yes. Lagree is designed to be scalable for beginners through advanced clients. Our instructors offer personalized modifications to ensure you feel challenged, supported, and confident in every class.

What can I expect in my first class?
Plus sign

Expect a welcoming environment, expert guidance, and a challenging full-body workout. Your arrival time is 15 minutes before your scheduled class so we can complete an orientation of the space, set you up on the machine, and answer any questions before class begins.

What should I wear?
Plus sign

We recommend form-fitting athletic wear that allows for movement. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. If you do not currently have grip sock, they will be available for purchase in-studio. Please remove all jewelry to avoid damaging the machines.

What is your grip sock policy?
Plus sign

Grip socks are required for all Lagree classes to ensure safety and hygiene on the equipment. Socks with individual grips on the bottom provide stability during your workout. If you don’t have a pair, grip socks are available for purchase in studio.

What should I bring?
Plus sign

Just yourself and a positive mindset. Grip socks are required for class and can be purchased in studio. We recommend bringing a water bottle and a sweat towel if you would like one.

How long are classes?
Plus sign

Most classes are 45 minutes - efficient, effective, and designed to deliver maximum results in minimal time. Occasionally, class lengths may vary depending on the theme or focus.

How intense are the workouts?
Plus sign

Lagree is challenging by design but always intentional. The workout is high-intensity while remaining low-impact, focusing on slow, controlled movements that build deep strength and endurance. Intensity can be adjusted at any time, making classes approachable for beginners and continuously challenging for experienced clients.

How often should I take Lagree classes?
Plus sign

For best results, we recommend 3–4 classes per week. Consistency is key, and recovery is equally important, your body will thank you.
